JOB DESCRIPTION: Estimator

 

The position of Estimator will provide materials takeoffs and assist with the development of quotes for customers in the New England area. This position is based out of Lindon’s Rumford, RI location. The Junior Estimator will work closely with the Senior Estimator and will be provided with on the job training and guidance.  

Responsibilities

​

• Conduct material takeoff from engineered plans and prepare quotations

• Communicate with Sales associates prebid to coordinate estimating gameplan

• Maintain strong relationships vendors-representatives

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure that pricing data is received in a timely manner

• Gather required data for quote preparation

• Download required specs, plans, take-off, etc.

• Work with Sales team to maintain job win/loss record

• Other related duties as required by Management

 

Qualifications: 

 

• Industry experience in the field 

• Self-motivated 

• Organized 

• Works well independently while also collaborating with the team
